Recommended Load Cell Calibration Frequency

Regular calibration is critical to ensure traceability to national standards and to maintain accurate load measurement. Load cells that are not calibrated may produce inaccurate readings, potentially compromising workplace safety and operational productivity.

 

As a general guideline, calibration intervals should not exceed 12 months.

 

Factors Affecting Calibration Intervals

The appropriate calibration frequency should be determined by the user based on:

Once these factors are assessed, the recommended calibration intervals are:

Our Proof Load Testing Machine is a Grade A certified testing system, independently approved by the local and internationally recognised bodies, including the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and Lloyd’s Register.
